Artist
Terri "T. C." Fain trained at the Skinner Museum of Art, Palo Alto Artist's League and University of Massachusetts-Amherst. She has also benefited from working with local artists and their styles including the abstraction of John Grillo, spare eastern beauty of Q Holmes, classical style of Barbara Johnson and spontanaiety of Louise Minks. She continues to attend workshops and explore a variety of plein air settings and has painted/shown in Martha's Vineyard, Taos, the Carolina Appalachians, the Champlain Valley, County Kerry - Ireland, and the Coast of Maine. T. C. Fain is known for her still life, plein air landscapes and animal paintings which hang in a many collections. Her painting style has been noted for its depth and drama of color. Although she occasionally paints in oils, watercolors and pastels, she has found acrylics suited to her studio color work and the vivacity of plein air painting. Terri graduated from the University with two degrees, a B.S. in Anthropology and a Masters in Sociology.
